On April 23, three proactive student librarians from our school participated in the Hong Kong Reading For All Day 2025 – “Read Thousands of Books and Travel Thousands of Miles” 30-minute Read, organized by the Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau.
Our students proudly read aloud the “Reading Manifesto” on-site and enjoyed the experience of reading alongside other primary and secondary school teachers and students.

The Taiwan Reading & Creative Culture Experiential Tour, organized by our school library, has successfully concluded! Teachers and students explored unique libraries, Taipei New Horizon, specialty bookstores, and comic museums. They also experienced the vibrant Taipei Lantern Festival and savored delicious local Taiwanese cuisine.
This incredible journey provided students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their horizons, deepen their appreciation for Taiwan’s reading and creative culture, and immerse themselves in its unique traditions. What an unforgettable experience!

Our librarians became bookworms on a mission to find the perfect books for our students!

The goal of this book-hunting adventure is to inspire a love of reading and make our library the most beloved learning space.

In September 2024, our first Story-Sharing Corner was buzzing with energy as enthusiastic S1 and S2 Carmelians shared their stories with English Ambassadors and librarians during lunchtime.

Our motivated readers and passionate storytellers made this event a great success!

The teacher librarian and school librarians of Shatin Methodist College visited our school library and shared how they carry out library operations more effectively and organise theme-based reading activities which help promote the reading culture of their school.

The teacher librarian and librarians of our school also shared how they help broaden students’ reading scope and support curriculum and facilitate cross-curricular reading.

The librarians of both schools found the exchange fruitful and inspiring!
