1. Interview notifications will be posted by March 6^th.

2. Should a candidate need to reschedule their interview, please download the “S.1 Admission Interview Leave Application Form 2026/27” and submit the completed form along with supporting documents by email to info@carmelss.edu.hk or in person by 5:00 p.m. on March 13^th, 2026. If the application is approved, we will contact the candidate’s parents by phone by March 17^th, 2026. If you do not receive a phone call by this date, please assume the application was not successful. We kindly request that parents refrain from calling the school to inquire about the status of their application.

3. For sick leave on the interview day, please submit a leave application form along with a medical certificate. These documents should be emailed to info@carmelss.edu.hk or delivered in person to the school. Please note that we cannot accept sick leave notifications by phone. If you have not received notification of a new interview date within three working days of submitting your sick leave application, please do not hesitate to contact us.

有關中一入學面試事宜：

1. 面試通知書(面試信)將於3月6日前寄出。

2. 如考生需更改面試時間，請按此下載『2026/27 中一入學面試事假申請表』，並務必於 3月13日下午5時或以前連同有關證明電郵至info@carmelss.edu.hk或逕交本校辦理；倘本校批准更改面試時間，會於3月17日或以前致電通知考生家長；不獲覆電者，表示申請不獲批准；家長毋須來電查詢。

3. 病假申請最遲於面試當天內提出，並連同醫生證明電郵至info@carmelss.edu.hk或逕交本校辦理；恕不接受以電話申請。如申請補考後3個工作天內仍未收到本校回覆，請致電本校查詢。

Information on Making an Application for the S1 Discretionary Places (2026/27)

1. EDB has stipulated that each P6 student should apply for S1 discretionary places with only two SSPA participating schools. Violating this stipulation will lead to disqualification in such application.

2. Our School has a total of 40 discretionary places for application.

3. Our School adopts the following as admission selection criteria:

1. Academic performance in P4, P5 and P6 (40%);
2. Conduct (20%);
3. Extra-curricular activities (20%);
4. Performance in the admission interview (20%).

4. Application period: 2nd – 16th January 2026

1. You may send a postal request (with a self-stamped-and-addressed envelope); or
