失衡的天秤

天秤似乎是種源遠流長的東西,它的用途當然就是要衡量兩端之物是否重量均等,讓人量出個「公平」。只是現今很多天秤都失衡了,因為一些人的私心,寧願掩眼不顧。

近年來人都不禁反思香港的立法權和司法權究竟是否權力均等,以致真能達致互相牽制?在政治主導的情形下,我想天秤已無疑地側重了政權。環境保育與經濟發展之間的爭論,亦源於有人察覺到平衡兩者的天秤失衡了,於是有被標籤為正義一方的環保團體和邪惡的發展商抗爭的出現。

以上的天秤失衡現象都屬於外在的失衡,可是實則上人類常承受着裏裏外外的失衡。

年少的生活主線多以學習為主,但社會的各誘惑:明星、潮流服飾、智能手機、電子遊戲、交友網站……耗費的盡是時間和金錢。只.........

餐廳的角落有一條不知通往何處的樓梯。與平日不一樣的是,我踏上黑暗而窄小的梯級時,心中竟無一絲怯懦。爽快地踏過梯階之後,眼前竟出現了一道日式家居中的走廊,明亮整潔。經過一道又一道普通不過的滑門後,一道如科幻電影中的實驗室鐵門映入眼簾,與四周環境格格不入。不待我按下任何按鈕,笨重的鐵門已經徐徐滑升,我看見了實驗室的內貌   空氣中瀰漫着一股冰冷,如醫院病房般的氣味,乾淨得不自然。詭異的藍光照在兩側的入牆櫃上,櫃子擺滿了一個個盛着人體內臟和殘肢的玻璃罐。我愈看愈興奮,但我知道更精彩的尚在前面。我用輕快的步伐走到實驗室中央的一張手術檯,再伸出因亢奮而不住抖震的手,準備執起手術刀,解剖那具放在手術.........

聆聽

「恭維是蓋着鮮花的深淵,批評是防止跌倒的拐杖。」試就個人對這句話的體會,以「聆聽」為題,寫一篇文章。

「你的歌聲簡直就是天籟之聲,這次沒得獎,肯定是那些評委水平低,不懂欣賞。」甲阿諛奉承的說。

「你的音準還沒抓好,要拿獎其實還有一段距離。」乙坦誠的說。

兩句話,出自兩個下屬。如果你是他們的上司,你會想聽哪句話?我想必是前者。人,無論是男女老幼都喜愛聽「合心意」的話。批評、指摘,每每都會被耳朵自動過濾,仿佛聽不見就是不存在。可是,恭維的說話聽多了,耳朵裡還剩下多少真實?

聽到聲音,再聽其內容,才是真正的聆聽。但人面對恭維的說話時,抵抗力及分析力頓時消失得無影無蹤。上司聽到下屬的恭維說話時就會不禁沾.........

有一頭驢,掉進了一個很深很深的廢井裏。主人權衡了一下,認為救他上來不划算,轉身便走了。不久,有人往井裏倒垃圾,驢很沮喪:「真倒楣,掉進了井裏,主人不要我了,就連死也不讓我死得舒服點。」每天不斷有人把廢物扔進井裏。驢忽然想:「或許這番挫折,正是我繼續前進的動力。」牠把垃圾踩到自己的腳下,拒絶被垃圾所淹沒。終於有一天,垃圾成為驢的墊腳石,牠重新回到了地面上了。

「家有一老,如有一寶」此句諺語,從小到大不知聽過多少次了。這句諺語表現了中國人對老人的尊敬,家中有一老人,便如有一珍寶般珍貴,而老人珍貴的地方在於他們世故,人生練歷豐富,從他們身上我們能學習很多寶貴的經驗和生活智慧。「不聽老人言,吃虧在眼前」,老人家的金石良言對我們立身處世大有幫助。另外,老人通常對世事都看得通透,能教我們凡事包容、諒解。而於現今的社會中,父母大多外出工作,家中健壯的老人還能扮演照顧家庭的角色。不過,現今社會又是否能夠反映出如此美好的狀況呢?我認為有所不能了,有老人在家,似乎卻成了大家的負擔和煩惱。

最近有調查顯示香港人生活條件雖好,但快樂指數偏低,這現象引起了不少香港人共鳴。在我的觀點中,這現象絶對不是天荒夜談,而是有跡可尋的,甚至可以把這現象說成是香港繁華背後的悲歌。

香港鬧市的繁華是每一位香港人日以繼夜的拼搏得來的,這是使我們生活環境好的原因之一,但香港人對工作都「走火入魔」了。看看中環,有多少個到了退休年齡仍辛苦工作的老精英,多少個應在家中做飯的女強人,多少個為了供車供樓的職場「達人」。他們無非也是想掙錢養妻活兒,打拼出自己的安樂窩罷了,但工作卻是無底深潭,慾望就是把你推進去的手;你掙了人生第一個十萬,卻不能供起一個四百平方呎的住宅單位;你掙了人生第一個一百萬,一個小孩卻要四個一.........

女兒聽後,一言不發,走到窗前仔細打量,隨即抺掉窗上的灰塵,說道:「這不就乾淨了嗎?

媽媽恍然大悟,不乾淨的不是別人的衣服,而是自己的窗子。

「叮……叮……叮」,放學的鐘聲響起了,我手持着羅老師給我的便條,來到教室的門外。

羅老師雖然沒有任教我任何科目,但她卻是我這六年來的教會導師,可惜,她最近因私人理由辭職,此舉令我的教會生活有了一個很大的改變。

隨着教會的發展,導師們因工作、私人理由等原因紛紛離任。團契導師由原來的九位,變成現在兩位。團友們和我對於此現象感到不滿和失望,甚至對教會所做的決定感到生氣。

好奇心驅使我問她辭職的原因。羅老師並沒有即時回應我,反而問道:「一心,對於現時團契的情況,你有甚麼感受呢?」她凝視着我,我知道她想聽到的是我的真心話,而不是經過思考後才道出的「標準答案」…

由愛民邨前往迦密的一小段路上,矗立着一排木棉。四月開花,六月結果,每年如是。記得中一時,我仍會為忽爾飄落的棉絮驚歎,但同樣的風景看了五年,每天在這小路上來來往往,早就習以為常,很久沒有為這片景致駐足停留。

不經不覺,又踏入四月。記得那天,我抱着沉重的功課,狼狽地走着上學的路。又長又斜的路程令我的怒氣也冒了出來,仰天抱怨。抬起頭看見的不是灰濛濛的天空,而是一朵朵開得燦爛的木棉花。它們簇擁在樹梢上,同享盛放的喜悅。它們不會像花田裏的繁花般爭豔鬥麗,反而各自守在獨有的位置上,令途人能從疏密有致的樹枝間清楚看見每朵花兒的美;亦不如玫瑰般浪漫誘人,沒有獨特的香氣,沒有精緻的花瓣,更沒有婀娜多姿的形態。.........

我見天色已晚,便決定到附近的人家裏討杯茶水,並且借宿一宵。敲了敲一戶人家的門,出來迎接我的是個二十出頭的小伙子,在我道明來意後竟沒有絲毫的不屑和厭煩,倒是滿臉堆歡。

這間屋子佈置得簡樸而整潔,一看就知道是個讀書人的家。我打量這間狹小的房子,視線不經意瞄到掛在牆上的一張照片,一個既熟悉但卻又帶幾分陌生的形象映進我的眼簾。
