Junior Secondary History e-Reading Award Scheme 2022

Our school participated in the Junior Secondary History e-Reading Award Scheme 2022. The territory-wide Scheme encouraged students to learn history through reading. Among 21 participants in our school, 16 students won the Appreciation Award and 3 S3 students took an extra challenge for a group project. With an in-depth study of different historical sources, ranging from books and journals to videos and interviews, the students came up with an essay titled ‘Positive Qualities of the Jews Facing the Holocaust’. This well-researched project was selected as one of the top 6 entries. The 3 students were given the Academic Award. Honourably, the students were the only team of the category invited by the Education Bureau to present their project in the prize presentation ceremony at the University of Hong Kong.
