Our Robotics Team took part in the FIRST Lego League Tournament (FLL) on 30th January 2016 and the results were pleasing. Our team PolyMono performed well in the tournament, which consists of four parts: Robot Performance, Robotic Design, Project Research and Teamwork. At the end of the competition, our team PolyMono won the First Place in the Robot Performance and the Second Place in the Champion’s Award and they will take part in the Asia-Pacific Open Championship at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia in early July.

The First Lego League Tournament is a competition full of fun and challenges and requires participants to demonstrate different skills and creativity. The theme of the tournament this year is ‘TRASH TREK’, which participants were required to explore the world of trash and suggest an innovative solution on improving or resolving the pressing issue of trash.
