Hello! How are you? Recently I have a chance to work closely with your idol, Mary, during her concert. You must be very interested in my experience, right? After working with Mary these days, I found that she is very different from what I thought of her before. Let me share my experience with you.
I was hired to be one of the dancers in Mary’s concert. Although Mary is very famous, I didn’t know much about her. My impression on her was that she’s a young idol who often appears in TV shows and advertisements. The mass media said that the main reason for Mary to be so famous is not because of her good singing and dancing skills, but her good appearance. Actually this was exactly what I thought of Mary before I worked with her. Nowadays teenagers just care about their idol’s appearance, but not their strengths. And Mary is too young for me to believe that she could have good singing and dancing skills, at least not at the age of 18.
From my experience, the practices and rehearsals usually start 2 weeks before the concert. But to my surprise, Mary called for her first practice about a month before her concert. On the first day of the practice, I arrived a bit earlier. I was shocked when I saw Mary exercising in the dancing room. She arrived much earlier than me! She greeted us one by one and introduced herself in a nice and friendly way. I used to think that idols love to stress their differences from others, but Mary totally changed my mind! She treated us like friends, and ordered drinks and snacks for us. We practiced together for about a month and we all became friends.
I still remember one night when we kept practicing until mid-night, everyone was exhausted and was about to leave. After I got changed, I found that I left my wallet in the dancing room, so I returned to get it back. I thought all people should have left, but the light of the dancing room was on. I carefully opened the door, and discovered that Mary was still doing the practice on her own! I will never forget what she told me that night, “I know that I’m young, and lack singing nor dancing experience, so I have to work much harder to gain others’ acceptance.”
Yeah, perhaps Mary doesn’t have such good singing and dancing skills compared with other singers at this moment, but I think she is already the best!
