Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to complain about the poor services and the unacceptable conditions of your centre. I think it is unreasonable of you to expect customers to do exercises under such a poor and unacceptable circumstance.

I would like to start by saying that your aerobics class is unacceptable. First of all, your instructor is unfit, she is even fatter than the students. She taught only easy steps, which all the students had already known. Also, she wears dirty clothes, which makes me feel uncomfortable. Moreover, the room is very messy, as things including dumb-bells, used clothes, bags, CD player and discs are everywhere on the floor. Participants may get hurt easily if they tripped over the stuff. Also, the CD player is broken, which means no music is played. How can participants dance without music? The participants cannot follow the steps. What is more, the mirror is broken. It is not fixed properly, but only tapes. It is very dangerous for the participants. Lastly, it is very crowded. We simply cannot move and bump into one another. I feel really unacceptable.

My next complaint concerns the condition of your snack bar. Firstly, your assistant is unhygienic because he does not wear mask and disposable plastic gloves. And he looked as if he did not sleep the night before. When I asked him about healthy snack, he gave me bad advice. He is so impolite and I can see that he does not respect his job. Secondly, the snack bar is extremely messy. There are unwashed trays everywhere and the food counter is dripping water. And the used cups and plates are not washed. It simply makes me not willing to stay there for a second longer. Moreover, your snack bar only sells fattening food, which should not be on the menu of a fitness centre. Last but not least, tables and chairs there are broken but no one seems to be taking account for fixing them. The snack bar really makes me feel bad to be there.

The thing concerned me most was that your assistant manager has bad attitude. He blamed me for sitting in the snack bar looking for problems, but he avoided answering my question. He also argued that hamburgers, cakes and drinks, which are fattening food, are healthy snacks, as he suggested vegetables, dairy products and fruit are included in your unhealthy snacks. He also gave me unreasonable and unfeasible advice on healthy snacks. When I complained about all these problems, he said that no action would be taken and he thought I should join another fitness centre if I was unhappy. I was irritated after receiving such a voicemail message.

I expect to receive a full explanation regarding these matters. I also demand a full refund. If no action is to be taken, I would have no choice but to report the case to relevant authorities.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Wong
