David fell in love with Amy the first day he saw her. They met each other on the first day Amy came to this school. Amy was a new schoolmate. When Amy went inside the classroom, David was attracted to her. David liked her so much! He wanted to make friends with her. So he asked her out bravely.
“Hello, my name is David. Can we be friends? You are so beautiful and cute and charming and your hair is really beautiful. I love you so much. Would you like to go to the cinema with me on Saturday?”
Amy nodded her head.
On Saturday morning, Amy got up early and had some good ideas. Amy thought David was cheeky actually. “How come a person would love somebody on the first day they had met? It was impossible.” Amy bet David must love her face and her hair more than her heart. Amy had decided to test David so she bought some clothes that weren’t so lady and she cut her long hair. She tried to make herself look like a man
That evening, Amy was so excited and happy. She wanted to knowhow David would respond. “Will he be surprised and shocked?” Amy wondered as she looked at the mirror, styling her hair. She wanted to become a ‘handsome’ girl.
David was so nervous then. He always imagined the look of Amy that night. She might be wearing a dress and she would be the most beautiful girl in the cinema. Suddenly, he saw a boy walking towards him. He felt weird and saw ‘his’ face. Then he couldn’t say anything anymore. He couldn’t believe what he had seen. They boy was Amy! “How come she cut her beautiful long hair and wore the men’s suit. Oh my God! She was not that beautiful girl anymore!”
After that evening they didn’t talk to each other anymore.
