A Letter of Regret

Dear Piano,

I’m sorry I didn’t take care of you and was not kind to you. It’s all because of my bad temper which was caused by the school and homework pressure.  I always gave vent to you by playing songs badly, and pounding the keyboard harshly.  I did this until one day some keys couldn’t play any sound.  After checking, the tuner said some strings inside you were ruined because of the moisture which was caused by the bad weather.  And the whole strings part was taken back to the company to be fixed.

I regret it.  I look back and think again and again.  If I had taken care of you, I would have found that the strings were moistened by the bad weather.  If I had found that the strings were moistened by the bad weather, you wouldn’t have been ruined by moisture.  If you hadn’t been ruined by moisture, you wouldn’t have been taken back to the company to be fixed.

It’s my entire fault.  I’m sorry and I promise these will not happen again.  Would you still like to be my friend and partner and to play music with me? Or you want me to leave you alone?  Please let me know what you think.

                                                                                                                       Yours,

                                                       Anita
