A speech concerning the children in the developing countries

Good morning everyone, I am the student ambassador for Unicef. Today, I would like to talk about the problems children face in some developing countries.

Some areas in China are very poor. Many children cannot go to school. Their parents do not have enough money to pay for the school fee and tuition fee.

Nowadays, teachers always teach us by using the computer and projector. However in China, the facilities are simple. There the teachers just use the blackboard and some old textbooks to teach the students. The chairs and tables are very old and dirty too! There is just one classroom in the school. How can a classroom hold about a hundred children? It must be very crowded.

To help these children, we have many ways to support them. We may raise money for Unicef. There is one collection box at the IT corner. All of you can donate some money. These donations will be sent to China or some developing countries like Cambodia or Africa for buying them some new chairs, tables, textbooks, etc.

Besides, you may also donate some of your used books, stationery and clothesto them. The facilities there are simple and they don’t have good resources. So, your donation will surely help them with their study and may make them feel interested in studying.

It‘s very easy for you to support the children through Unicef. Give a helping hand to the children in need.

This is the end of my speech, thank you!
