Jeremy Lin was born into a Taiwanese—American family. He has two siblings who are also aficionados of basketball. He is the second, yet the tallest and tautest child of the family. After graduating from high school, he wanted to study at Stanford University which was famous for its excellence in basketball. However, it turned out that he entered Harvard University instead which later became a springboard for Lin to NBA.
Lin’s career path was much ragged than he had expected. He managed to sign up a contract with the Golden State Warrior through a series of tough work. It is not that his amazing performance caused the sensation, more that his story of a dinky one shooting to fame creates the hype. The tale-like story is now even depicted as ‘Linderella’, which shows the rarity of the legend substantially.
Lin’s success doesn’t come from nothing. He is a self-disciplined and hardworking player. He has a strong determination and takes every single training seriously. He doubles the work of training and pays more effort than everybody does. There is not a second that he slackens off.
His physical attribute should also get some of the credits. As an Asian, he is about 1.9 metres and he is burly. His height and size help him cope with the impact and force during games. Therefore, he can nimbly dash into his opponents’ field and shoot in spite of their intense defense.
His passion for basketball is of the most vital importance. He overcomes the obstacles on his career path with his passion. No matter which team he is on or if he can draw attention from the team, he always gives his best during training and games.
