Walking in the rain

The sky became strange because of its illness. It was stained with grey color gradually. It was like a huge bulky hippo which was swimming in the city. It also looked like a lady wearing muffler. It was an omen of heavy rain and had been suspended in the air for the long time. Firstly, the sky started to drizzle. Raindrops were sparkling and gleaming when the sunlight passed through them. They were the precious gifts that were sent by the sky. They made plants fell comfortable and enjoyable. They were as transparent as dews and pearls. The leaves glistened with those raindrops. It was a magic of rain.

However, the magic of rain was strengthened later. They sky was wailing since it was suffering from painful illness. It was an enormous funnel which was filled with a large amount of water. The sky released its pressure and pain through raining. The shower had already gone and the massive and thick clouds covered the sky and hid the sun. The rain was like the silvery-white stings that were scattered on the roads and streets. They were pleased to escape from the “prison” as they invented a lot of games to play in their leisure time.

They were naughty children when they reached the floor and stained color on it. Besides, they beat everything violently. The road and streets became their playground temporarily and they played on it joyfully. They were separated into different groups and invaded everywhere in their playgrounds. Some of them joined together and formed water puddles. It was difficult for them to move in such limited area. However, it seemed that they still had a good time with their friends because they tricked many people by slipping on the streets. They wetted the sides of their clothing. These raindrops yelled and murmured at the misfortune of the people. Some of them were playing a slide on the road. They slid on the road fluently and it was an endless slide. They slid through everywhere and drifted into different districts. It seemed that they were glad to have this trip. Some of them were playing the roller coaster on the road at high speed. They played happily and felt exhilarated with this game. They did not have to pay for it and they could play it for many times. They flew up and down. Meanwhile, they could also get a glimpse of majestic scenery. You would find their traces on the road and hear their screams.

The roads were getting wetter and wetter. The raindrops jumped on the surface of the umbrellas unceasingly and vigorously. They also gave out the sound of “dadada”. They were as active and energetic as kangaroos. You would feel their happiness and energy from their voices. The umbrellas were drenched with water as the raindrops were leaping frequently on them. Eventually, some umbrellas were not able to endure their vigorous and excessive leap and they were broken. The rain was like a large amount of arrows that were shot from the sky. The streets were filled with the broken umbrellas and wriggled rain. They were crawling across the ground.

Apart from the roads, there were many raindrops spread on the windows. They also became snakes which crawled across the surface of the windows. They used their creativity to draw different pictures on the windows. It was like a crazy artist who splashed these colorless pigments on his transparent “wall”. It looked like a story of The Emperor’s New Clothes. Actually, they were so painful that they left a lot of traces of their colorless blood on the “wall”. Sometimes, they were increasing their complexity as they split into many little raindrops and they became a troop of rain.

The rain also influenced the plants and trees. They were wetted and soak in water it seemed that they wanted to have a cold bath to make themselves clean and comfortable. Their leaves and branches were shivering in the cold rain. It seemed that the happiness of the rain also affected the feelings of plants. They were going to a party to release their pressure and burden because of their boring lifestyle. Meanwhile, they produced the sound of “sasasa” and they followed the music to move their bodies and shake their leaves. They were crazy lady who waved her hair unceasingly. Their “sweat” trickled down their faces. They performed their unique dancing and singing skills. When they finished their performances, they would bend forward to their bodies. They enjoyed playing with rain and they would never feel exhausted for their shows.

The rain formed a choir and the raindrops on the plants and the grounds were relying on each other. They shared their happiness and adventurous experience to each other by chorusing. Did it sound great? The silence was broken by regular drip of the rain and their chorus. When you touched the raindrops, you would feel their softness and smoothness. It was easy for us to ruin the raindrops by our bear hands.

Meanwhile, it was a lady who was always vacillating with different states.

Nonetheless, she would let you get into big troubles when she felt extremely angry. She was like a bear with a sore head sometimes. Rain had both feeble and indecisive personalities. Will you regard them as a magic? Would you think they are interesting and mystery creatures?
