A letter of complaint

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to complain about the problems the karaoke club has created for the residents in Happy Mansion. I hope that you will take these problems seriously.
First of all, the karaoke club has been making a lot of disturbing noises overnight. A lot of residents cannot sleep because of the laughing and screaming sounds. They wake up the next day feeling tired and sleepy, and cannot concentrate on their work. Some residents are even late for work or school because of this. We tried tot tell the karaoke club to stop making too much noise, but to no avail. They even told us to sleep on the streets if we could not sleep here.

Secondly, there have been a lot of bad people fooling around ever since the second and third floors were rented to the karaoke club. Many residents have seen people smoking in the corridors. Some people wobble around as if they are drunk or have taken drugs. Also, a lot of residents have seen people fighting. We all think that having the karaoke club around is dangerous to us.

Thirdly, the advertising posters and pamphlets are creating litter problems. The karaoke club has been sticking advertising posters all around the building. However, since no posters are allowed to be stuck, they have to be torn down. Some helpful residents are helping to tear down the posters. However, the karaoke club simply sticks them back up when they are torn down. This irritates us a lot, since the once beautiful and clean walls are now filled with advertising posters.

Lastly, the karaoke club customers are making the lifts overcrowded. Since most customers go to the club at night, there are a lot of people waiting for the lifts in the morning, when the customers leave. This makes the lifts very crowded and forces us to wait a long time for a lift that is not so crowded, making us late for school or work.
The karaoke club is causing a lot of problems for the residents in Happy Mansion. I hope that you will take these problems seriously and do something to tackle them. Otherwise, we will move out of Happy Mansion and warn our friends not to live here.

Yours faithfully,
Chris Wong
