Life is… (2B Dora Hau)

Life is a video game. You start from the first level, which is ‘birth’. Then it gets harder and harder. Then you’ll reach the last and final level, which is ‘death’.

Every level you play, it gets more complex and complicated. Each phase of your life is tougher and more stressful than before. You might fail multiple times, but you become stronger every time you fail because you gain more experience. Your experiences are your weapons. Use them to pass each level. When you win, remember the technique you have used and the knowledge you have acquired. They are your advantages for passing your next level.

One level is just a tiny part of the game. If you fail one level, it doesn’t mean you have failed the whole game. Same in real life, each phase you’re going through is just a tiny part of life. Even if you don’t do well in one phase, it doesn’t mean you’re a failure. Many of us blame ourselves for not working hard enough so that’s why we failed to reach our goals. However, time doesn’t go back, so it’s useless to blame yourself because the reality won’t change. Therefore, we should look forward and start ‘gearing up’ to fight our next level and obstacles. Don’t let a small mistake stop you.

Life is tough. Each level of a video game is hard. However, don’t let it stop you. Stay strong and fight hard at each level. It’ll make you more successful.
