Where’s April?

May and June were searching for April. May’s and June’s appearance were sparking in the mysterious and foggy forest.
May dressed like a red rose and June wore as white as the lily. They walked in the middle of the forest just like strays. They shouted deafeningly till their voice became sore while they were searching,
‘April, our adorable sister, where are you?’
Even though they shouted loudly, the dense forest seemed to have absorbed all kinds of waves including sound and light.
The short-tempered May was just like a bullet. She rushed into the darkness without thinking twice and her more mature younger sibling, June, followed. Suddenly, a dazzling lightning slashed the darkness into two. May and June saw a shabby old hut which was disappearing in a crack made by the thunder. May immediately grabbed June’s hand and ran into the disappearing crack.
After they entered the hut, they saw an old lady sitting at a cosy little nook by the fire.
That old lady looked as wise as Solomon, with her piercing eyes and elegant manner. Just before May asked her question, that old lady said, ‘I’m September. I wonder if the two charming young ladies are looking for your dearest sister, April.’ Before May and June replied ‘Yes’, September continued to speak as if she could predict the future. ‘Never should you two pretty ladies find where April is.’ September spoke with flawless courtly courtesy.
May and June became mute because September’s saying was talented. ‘April has departed her short and bright life. Both May and June will follow too.’ She continued ‘You are under indoctrinated teacher’s ruling. She is kind and will teach a lot. However, no matter how good you are, she still takes away every student’s life. She is Time.’
May and June started to weep and lament. Tears flew down their cheeks and September’s another saying came.’ Even though you will die shortly, you should value your limited but valuable time.’ September’s saying was just like a proverb which was always correct. And it was like a psalm which was always good to listen to. Therefore, May and June stopped finding their belated sister April. The started to use their short life wisely.
