I was so tired after the badminton competition so I immediately went to bed after dinner. Then I fell asleep in a minute.
I soon found myself awake, however. My room was very bright. All the lights were on. It was weird as I seldom turned on all the lights. I was very scared, so I decided to go out and ask my parents what had happened. When I left the room, I found myself next to a volcano! When I turned back, the door of my room had gone! I was really frightened. Suddenly, I heard a voice, “Go to the top of the volcano and throw the ring into it. If you don’t listen to me, I will torture you to death.” Just when I was wondering where the ring was, I felt that there was something in my pocket. There was a ring! I was so scared and helpless because I didn’t know what I should do. It would be really dangerous to go to the top of the volcano. Finally, I decided that I should go up and throw the ring into it.
The volcano was very steep. It was very difficult to climb to the top. I passed a dark, strange forest on my way up. The trees towered over me and I could not see any sunlight. The shrill sound of the birds and the spiders hanging on the trees made me shiver. The scent of the damp grass came into my nose, which made me want to vomit.
When I was almost on the top, I suddenly slipped and fell. I found myself flying! I was flying towards the mouth of the volcano. Suddenly, I began to sink. I closed my eyes when I was going down… Oh! I fell into the lava! But I didn’t feel any heat or pain. I just felt I was in a pool of water. I could even breathe!
As this moment, I saw the door of my room just a few meters away. I swam towards it and opened it. But this door didn’t lead me to my room. Instead, it was filled with jewelry. Just when I was about to pick the jewelry, a huge one-eye giant grabbed me and threw me down. I was seized with terror. The giant held my neck tightly and I was sure that death was near. I closed my eyes and prayed helplessly…
After a while, I heard a ringing noise. I opened my eyes and noticed that I was on my bed. “Phew, all the things that happened just now were just a dream!” I got off bed, feeling relaxed. Just at that moment, I felt that something was in my pocket…
It was a ring.
