I am a bus stop

I am an ordinary bus stop. My leg is huge, my body is long and fat, and my head is round and flat. On my face, there are three big numbers,’1′, ‘0’, and ‘8’. However, they can’t block my view as my eyes are big and can see everything clearly.

Look! Another bus stops in front of me right now. There are lots of people getting off the bus and boarding the bus at the same time. Some teenagers can’t even wait until the door opens completely and they jump off the bus as soon as possible. Meanwhile, an elderly woman walks slowly and steps out of the bus step by step. These two scenes form a contrast. Sometimes, I can also see some funny passengers. Once, there was a passenger who didn’t know that he had forgotten to bring his Octopus card with him. When he wanted to pay the bus fare, he took out nothing and put his right palm on the Octopus card reader and then slowly walked upstairs. When I saw that scene, I laughed hard and tried to bend my waist, but I couldn’t do that. Finally, a secondary school student reminded the man to pay his bus fare by cash. I felt glad after that accident, not just because the bus company didn’t lose any money, but also because I could see how people helped each other on a bus.

I have also made friends with another bus stop which is near me. She is a bus stop of bus line number 5A. We often chat with each other about different passengers’ behaviuor because that is the only thing that will change in every second in our sight. We have been friends for thirteen years, since we have been placed here. ‘ No matter what has happened, we will share it and face it together.’ We even made this promise one week ago! When I am trying to recall my best memories with my friend, I cannot see anything suddenly. I call me friend’s name, ‘Cathy! Do you know what has happened to me? Are you still there?’ Cathy replies, ‘Oh no! You have been covered by a headgear with the words,”Out of service”! Why will this happen?’

I feel like I can’t breathe anymore as the headgear covers my head completely, so I tell Cathy that I may die soon and ask her to take care of herself. After that, I lose my consciousness.
