I have been wondering how it would be like if I were a teacher during primary school because I was too bored after doing all of the homework. However, it is no more right now since being a teacher is no longer a dream of mine and I don’t have that much time for daydreaming. It is quite hard to imagine what would happen if I were Miss Shih since Miss Shih is so different from my primary school’s teachers.
If I were Miss Shih, I would not give any homework to the students. Homework is a very heavy burden to the students since it takes up a lot of time. Also, more homework can cause less relaxation time and pressure. Pressure is a big problem nowadays since it can cause mental problems to the students and even drive them to commit suicide! Therefore, no homework for the students is very crucial for their mental health. Rather, I would let the students do more classwork and create more activities to ensure that they are concentrating during class.
If I were Miss Shih, I would also let the students speak Chinese during class since our mother tongue is Chinese. Forcing them to speak English all the time during English lessons might be a little bit strict and unnatural.
To solve this problem, I would let the students choose some English songs to play during class. This suggestion can create an English-rich environment while not being too strict during class.
If I were Miss Shih, I would also get a very handsome boyfriend . I think that getting a very handsome boyfriend is very important because Miss Shih is quite pretty and she needs a handsome boyfriend to match her. Also, the boyfriend will become my husband and I need to live with him for the whole life.
After all of this imagination, I still cannot be Miss Shih because I am not Miss Shih! Hope that Miss Shih will have a good life and have a very handsome boyfriend (maybe).
