Friendship is like a bridge. I agree! Friendship is our precious asset. If you approach a time of your life of complete uncertainty, friendship is just like a bridge, a road for you to walk on, to trust and always be there for you.
But friendship is also like an umbrella. This idea comes from the words of Charles Caleb Colton. He is an English cleric writer and collector. He said, "True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost." Have you ever forgotten to bring your umbrella on a rainy day? I have. It was 'despair'. I realized how important an umbrella is. Friendship is the same as an umbrella. If you can find it and use it, I may say it is even much more powerful than an umbrella!
