In Hong Kong , parents put a lot of pressure on students. This makes them have a suicidal thought. In this news article,it is totally opposite and different. The girl is under tremendous stress. She forced herself to excel academically.During exam weeks, she gets up at 6 am to study for an extra hour, after burning the midnight oil. Even though her parents ask her to take a rest, she turns a blind eye to them.

In my opinion, the girl beefing up herself in different subjects that overly will make her tired. When she does not have enough sleep, she can’t concentrate on exams. A suitable amount of pressure will boost someone up, But too much pressure will wear someone down. Doing sports is a way to let us release from the pressure of study. ‘Word hard, play hard’ is also important. If we can’t balance them, we will suffer like the girl.

Moreover, scoring good grades is important. However, enjoying the process of study is more important than the results of studying. Through study, we can gain knowledge, wisdom etc. What we can gain is not only a sheet of report card, and also the fun and happiness in study.

Therefore, I think the girl should take a good rest during summer holiday and she should not have a blind pursuit of good grades.
