Do you have any regrets? Do you feel you need to say sorry to something?

Dear Violin,

The scene of throwing you on the floor nine years ago is still a vivid memory in my mind. Were you hurt because of my innocent and childish action?  I hope after so many years, you have been cured by time.

If I had practised patiently and with more effort, I wouldn’t have been scolded by my teacher for the bad performance.  If I hadn’t been scolded so severely, I wouldn’t have had such a bad mood.  If I hadn’t been so moody, I wouldn’t have thrown you on the floor without thinking a second more.  Do you still remember that since I threw you on the floor, my mum stopped me from playing you?  Every time when I passed by the place where we had been the best partner once, I felt deeply regretful.  I miss the wonderful and enjoyable music.  I miss the time we cooperated with each other.  I miss the time of being close to you.  While we are so remote now, I still wish to thank you for giving me confidence in music.  You have stimulated my interest in playing other musical instruments.  You are assured that no way will I ever mistreat my musical instruments again.  I am sure you will be pleased with it.

Let’s make a promise that after I have finished my study in university, I will pick you up and hold you in my arm again.

Sorry once again and I really hope you will forgive me.  Trust me or not, I really miss you a lot.

 Love,

 Daisy
