I was sure that I would win. It was a Design & Technology Robert Car Competition. Michelle was my group member. We were very excited before the competition. We had a lot of confidence in this competition.
The competition started, we were so nervous. I was afraid that I couldn’t put the bottle correctly. And we were the first group to have this competition. “Three…two… one … start!” Michelle pressed the button quickly. The car stated to run. Very fast, the car put the bottle into the hole. At the first round we won. What an exciting competition!
After a while we had the second round, we thought that we would win this time. The competition started again. I put the bottle carefully and Michelle pressed the button faster. Many students was supporting us. We were very touched. The car ran again and Michelle took care of it. At the last moment, the car never caught the bottle and threw the bottle into the hole. At last, we lost. We were a little bit sad. But we still supported them. Finally, they won.
In this competition, I knew that we should not be proud when we get good results or win some competitions because we may have a bad result next time.
