Bauhinia Woman

While some people are excited about the ‘Scheme $6000’ and are waiting eagerly to collect the money, some are disappointed with the government’s plan.  To show her discontent with the plan, ‘Bauhinia Woman’ handed money and food to the needy before the launch of the scheme.

What do you think of Bauhinia Woman’s action?  Do you think it is an effective way to inspire others to help the poor?

Recently, a masked woman appeared in Hong Kong and everyone called her “Bauhinia Woman”.  She visited lots of families in Jordan area.  As she is discontented with Hong Kong Government’s policies, she refuses to tell others about her personal information and tries her best to help people who need help by herself.  She has her own “uniform”. Every time she helps people, she wears a blue mask and also a black tight outfit.

From my point of view, “Bauhinia Woman” is a fantastic person. She may not have lots of money, but she still goes to some poor areas to give some money, food and even care and support to people who are in need.  She cannot help everyone who needs help in Hong Kong, but she has tried her best to show her concern.  Although she does not have as much money as that the government can give out to help Hong Kong citizens, she can show her love and care to let the people understand that there are still people caring about them.  Moreover, I think that she is a great person.  She does lots of things to help the needy, but she did not ask for any awards, returns and even do not let anyone know about her identity.  This makes me respect her so much.

Admittedly, what “Bauhinia Woman” did to help people is very meaningful, but I do not think what she has done can effectively help people in Hong Kong.  There are so many poor people in Hong Kong and she can only visit a small number of them. She can show care to the people, but her ability is so small when compared with the people who need help in Hong Kong.

We should spread her spirit of helping others and remind ourselves and people around us that it is our responsibility to help others.
