Once upon a time, there was a boy called Harry who was a fanatic of the book ‘Harry Potter’.  Once he started reading the book, he would forget to do everything. Therefore, many teachers, especially his English teacher, were concerned about him.

One day, he forgot to hand in his homework on time as usual.  His English teacher was really in a rage and going to give him a serious punishment at once, but she did not do it. She had another more useful and excellent idea.

In the lesson, she suddenly gave the class a surprise quiz. All of the students including Harry were shocked and afraid of getting a poor result.
“Don’t worry. The quiz is quite easy for you, but the one who fails will receive a special treatment from me,” she said.
All the students were discussing with one another frightenedly.

At last, all the students passed and got satisfactory results except Harry, who did not complete his homework.  After the quiz, the English teacher strode towards Harry’s seat and snatched the book ‘Harry Potter’ on his desk.

“Well, this interesting novel must be put into jail until you treat your studies seriously,” she said.

The time without ‘Harry Potter’ was a torture for Harry but it was also the opportunity for Harry to brush up his learning. Finally, he performed very well in the English Examination.  He thanked his English teacher.

What lesson did he learn?
“You’ve got to be cruel to be kind.” is what he wanted to tell us.
