Walking in the rain

I walked out from the school. I felt a little bit cold since it was now drizzling. I like drizzling as it won’t be too heavy and it can also wash away the dust on the street.

I slowly opened my umbrella and started walking home. At the same time, I found that there were lots of students standing at the bus-stop. Some of them were wearing uniforms while some of them are wearing their PE uniforms. They were holding different umbrellas with different colours, just like a funny and spell binding picture. In this picture, most of them get wet and have different facial expressions. Some of them were unhappy, worried and some of them were very angry holding their watery books. But some of them were unmindful of the rain.

I strolled carefully, holding a lot of books and carrying a heavy schoolbag. Even so, I felt quite relaxed in such environment since the sound produced by the rainwater hitting on my umbrella was just like a peaceful melody. Also, the breeze blowing on my face is just like helping me wash away the dust and all my troubles and unhappiness.

Other than me, there were also some people walking on the street. I saw one little, cute girl holding her ‘Hello Kitty’ umbrella and using her small hand trying to hold the rainwater. And she was singing a Japanese song very softly but nicely, she was a little angel. She seemed to be very joyful with the rain.

The rain was getting heavier and heavier. The wind now was blowing more strongly and produced the sound like ‘Wolf! Wolf!’ My poor umbrella, she was very weak and she was now using all her strength to withstand the strong wind. Fortunately, she was not lonely, other than me, the lovely tree was also supporting her! It was so polite and cute of the tree to wave to us but the sky seemed to be furious! How hateful it was!

Gradually, it becomes less heavy. At the same time, I found a beautiful girl with the eyes as big as the grapes. I guessed she was about seventeen to eighteen and was wearing colourful boots, with a hand holding a transparent umbrella and another was holding a mobile phone. She was talking loudly even though I couldn’t hear what she said. Her facial expressions told me that she was very frustrated and dissatisfied with the rain. Suddenly, a message appeared in my mind…..

The rain became drizzle again. The scene under the rain was just like being covered by a thin layer of fog, making the scene become a little bit white and vague but also a little bit romantic, just like a fantastic painting. I looked closely at a drop of rainwater on a leaf, all the wonderful and romantic scenes were projected onto the little crystal ball!

Finally, the rain stopped. The environment now was so clear and the air was very fresh with some smell of the grass, so great! After the walk in the rain, especially after I saw that pretty girl, I suddenly found that, being happy or not just depends on you!
