A mystery location

I am going to introduce a place near the school to you. But because this place is really normal and every Carmel student must know it, I will give you some strange hints to let you guess this mystery location.
There are many brothers and sisters of this place in Hong Kong, but you can surely identify it because it is the only one which is next to Carmel Secondary School.
When you stand beside this place, you can see many big or small metal boxes going from right to left, or left to right. The metal boxes have different shapes. In mid-afternoon, many animals go there. Some of them stay together and produce  noises, but some of them just stay alone and remain silent. When a big, long and tall metal box comes from the right hand side and stops in front of this location, you can always see some animals get out from a hole of it, and some animals get inside. At night, there is a strange cold light shining from the back. You can see drawings formed by straight, curly and colourful lines, and also some sights of animals, their habitat and their products, but they do not move.
You will hear noises from left to right and right to left. The volume becomes higher when the object, which is producing the sound, is closer to you. You can also hear the sound made by the animals if they start to chat. If there is nothing, you may hear the sound of moving air pushing the raw material of paper.
You will smell a horrible, nasty bad smell when the metal boxes go by, especially those big metal boxes I mentioned before. When that smell goes into your nose, your lungs, you will feel very uncomfortable and dizzy. You may even cough. This dirty air is one of the answers to ‘why do people eat ice cream more now than twenty years ago?’.
You are confused? I’m sorry, maybe I make the hints too difficult. I will give you the last hint: you can see a lot of numbers and letters on a board of this place. They are the names of a kind of metal boxes. Their names are easy to remember, like 7B, 17, 18, 41…… now I hope you can really guess it! Forgive my terrible hints and wish you had fun!
