A letter of advice to my friend

Dear Pat,

How are you? I’m sorry to hear that you have cheated in the exam. You must be very regretful for your own mistake. I also knew that you are so nervous about your exam. But I think you should be honest. I hope that you can tell the teacher by yourself.

You know, cheating is not a good way to do in the exam. First, it is not fair to the other classmates. Because they did not cheat but you’ve cheated, you may get higher marks than them even you have not do the revision. Also, cheating is not an honest way. When the teachers find out you have cheated, the result will be terrible to you. I suggest tell the teachers as quickly as you could, to show your regret full-heartedly. And you may write a report too.

Why don’t you do the revision before the exam? If you are really nervous about your marks, I think you need to do the revision carefully. When you do the exam, you should try your best in order to get high marks. I bet your parents won’t scold you after you’d try your best. But you keep cheating in the exam, your parents will be disappointed with and angry at you.

After all, you should try your best in the exam instead of cheating. It will help you in other exam. And you will be more confident to face your difficulties. Don’t be afraid. I will support you.

Best wishes,

Chris
