I would like to nomination Donald Tsang for the Person of the Year in Hong Kong.  My reasons are as follows:

1. Contribution to society
Being the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Mr. Tsang plays an undeniably important role maintaining the stability of Hong Kong. In this challenging year, he has made great contribution to society. Facing the economic downturn, he took firm action towards the provision of job opportunities.  Regarding the threat of swine flu, he made on incredibly wise decision – importation of foreign medicines. More importantly, he perseveres with the drive towards environmental conservation.  His contribution should be highly appreciated.

2. Role model for young people
Facing the pressure of mountains of work, what he has shown is not fear.  Instead, it is determination and courage.  Despite the unbelievable workload, he successfully delivered the political address.  Not only should teenagers learn from his spirit of determination, there is no denying that our city-dwellers should also learn from him.
In this way, our Chief Executive is undoubtedly a role model for young people.

3. Good Personality
Being the leader of Hong Kong, Mr. Tsang represents power and status. However, he is actually a caring person. For example, he shared his family life experience in a TV show, and his family was harmonious and warm.  People having a face-paced lifestyle would ignore their families, but not Mr. Tsang.  Traditional family values are vital in our lives.  Hong Kong people should learn from his attitude and treasure their family.  In this way, our Chief Executive is certainly the best candidate for Person of the Year in Hong Kong.
