A Horror Story

One evening, Jade, Harry, Kelvin and I decided to hide inside a large department store overnight. ‘It seems fun!’ Kelvin said with excitement.  We hid inside the department store until the doors were locked.  We then tiptoed out and turned on our torches we brought along in order to see clearly. It was midnight at that time – dark and cold.  We were surrounded by a terrible silence. We looked around carefully to make sure that no one was around.

‘Wow! The dress looks great!’ Jade praised and we got inside the clothes section. ‘Let’s try it on!’ I suggested and we went to take off the dresses of the figures inside. We looked at the mirror. ‘Well, we look COOL!’ ‘That pair of trousers looks good too!’ I walked towards another figure. Oh! A little girl holding an old doll walked towards Jade.

‘Hey! Little girl, why are you staying here at midnight?’ Jade asked surprisingly.
‘I’m looking for eyes,’ the little girl replied softly.
 ‘EYES?!’
‘For Julia,’ she answered, looking at the doll she was holding. The doll lost its eyes.
‘Hey, how do I look?’ I asked Harry and Kelvin and walked out of the clothes section.
‘You look smart! I’ve got a bag and Kelvin got a pair of shoes,’ Harry said.

On the other hand, Jade continued the conversation with the little girl inside the clothes section, ‘But … I can’t find any eye for you…’ Jade was a bit puzzled.
‘So…’ the girl’s voice became cold, ‘you can give yours to me,’ She said with an evil smile.
The door suddenly closed! ‘Ahhhhhhh! Nooooo!’ screamed Jade.

Kelvin, Harry and I were terribly shocked to hear the scream. We rushed to the clothes section and tried to open the door. ‘Gosh! It’s locked.  Jade, what’re you doing inside?’ I shouted at the door with fear, but no one answered. ‘We’ve got to do something!’ Harry was frightened, too.

A few minutes later, the door opened s-l-o-w-l-y. Jade came out. ‘Are you alright? Don’t scare me,’ I was worried.
‘I … I want my eyes back!’ She cried.  What? She had lost her eyes and her face was covered with blood.

‘Ahhhhhh…wow….’ Kelvin, Harry and I screamed and nearly fainted.

‘Please don’t go. Help me…’ she begged, chasing after us. We hurried to the door but found that the door was locked.

Suddenly, we found all the dummies in the clothes section were moving and chasing after us. ‘Oh God! What…what can we do!?’ Kelvin cried. Harry was also very nervous. I noticed an axe on the floor. I picked it up quickly and chopped the heads of the dummies off. The axe was full of blood but WHAT? I had cut Jade’s head?!  We were all shocked, trembling.

At that particular moment, we discovered that the little girl who was holding a doll stood at a corner, staring and smiling at us evilly. The doll she was huddling had a pair of beautiful eyes.
