Have you ever read a famous fairy tale called, “Tom Thumb”? Can you imagine that a real person will suddenly change into a small size like Tom?
Last Sunday morning, I woke up and went to the washroom as usual. On the way, I could feel that someone was dragging my feet. Therefore, I glanced around the dining room reluctantly. At first, my mother was nowhere to be seen. Afterwards, I looked down and discovered “a little naked doll “.
When I looked closer, it gave me a heart attack. I could see the body size of my mother shrank to 20 cm tall. I was in a panic that I couldn’t say a word. My mother told me she had had a stomach ache in the morning and took some pain-killers. However, she had drunk the chemical in a bottle which was for my Daddy’s experiment carelessly. So I called my Daddy but I couldn’t contact him.
Since then, I stayed at home and took care of my mother. The first thing that I needed to do was to give some clothes to her which were small in size. Therefore, I took some clothes of my Barbie to her. I gave her the utmost attention. Also, she was not allowed to walk on the floor since she was too tiny. Later on, I prepared a carton box which was full of pillows and blankets for her to sleep in. Then, I started cooking……
In the evening, my Dad came back home with a bottle of chemical. Dad said after he had heard the message, he came back at once. After Mum had drunk the chemical, she turned into her normal size again all of a sudden. She was overjoyed and smiled as the sun. Dad asked Mum to be careful next time. If not, there would be a great trouble again.
After the exhausting day, I was really tired. I took up my mother’s role. I took care of her for the whole day. I realize that it is really hard and fatiguing to take care of a person every day.
