My favourite idol

Everyone his or her idol, and my favourite idol is Charisse, my best friend in primary school.

Charisse is a very hard –working student. Her exam result was not good, but she never gave up. She tried her very best to prepare for the exam. For example, she studied every night about what she learnt that ay and before. She also read different kinds of books to know more. Once, we joined a competition together. Before the competition started, she studied very hard and tried to do her best in the competition.

Charisse was active too. In class, she always raised her hand to answer teachers’ questions. Although sometimes she doesn’t know the answer, she still tried. Before the Sports Day in Primary six, we have to select class representatives for different competitions. In high-jump, there was still one quota. When our teacher asked who wanted to try, she raised her hand. Even if she was not good at high-jump, she still gave it a go. At last, she was not selected. However, she did not feel sad. She even attempted to do high-jump in her spare time.

Charisse was a good example. From her, I knew we should always try, then we will still have a chance of success.
