Dear Patrick,

I am looking forward to your visit to Hong Kong. I can’t wait to see you.

I have already planned the schedule for you, so don’t worry! On Friday morning, I recommend you to go to The Summit, where you can go on some exciting rides and relaxing exhibits. You couldn’t miss the Raging River! This ride is totally thrilling especially when the car is rushing down the high water path. There is also a camera beside the water path to take your craziest moment! You can also buy the photo; however, it is quite expensive. It will be nice for you to bring one more set of clothes during the visit. Some of the rides will make you entirely wet! Besides what’s mentioned above, if you are audacious enough, don’t miss any of the rides in the Thrill Mountain. They are totally breathtaking! The Flash and the Hair Raiser will turn you upside down continuously! After the rides, you can visit the adorable penguins and Arctic Fox to calm down. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area nearby.

In the afternoon, you can either travel to The Waterfront by cable car or the Ocean Express. I would recommend cable car more. Although it takes a lot of time to queue up, it is worth it. You can have a time to loosen up yourself and look at the landscape and take snapshots of Hong Kong. The Waterfront is more about the exhibits of animals. The Panda Village is a must try. Panda is a symbol of China. In The Grand Aquarium- the biggest aquarium in the Park, you can see hundred kinds of fish.

On Saturday, I will visit the Peak with you. Up on the peak, you can buy some local crafts and souvenirs. If you like, you could also have a look in the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, where you can see the waxworks of Hong Kong stars and other world-famous people. Then, you can walk along the path around the Peak called Lugard Road. While you are enjoying the hike, you can also savour the Victoria Harbour. Then you can take the Peak Tram down to Central.

For the afternoon events, you can do some shopping and eat local food in the highest building in Hong Kong called IFC. (I guess you have heard of its name). There, we can dine in a local restaurant, which is very famous for its dim sum: you can try pork chop bun, steamed egg roll and so on. You will understand why Hong Kong is renowned as the City of Gastronomy once you come. After eating there, you family can do shopping for clothes and food.

I hope you and your family feel satisfied with my planning. Of course, if we have some time left, I will go somewhere else with you so that you will not feel bored!

I am lucky that my parents allow me to have a day with you in Saturday! Keep in touch.

Cheers,

Chris
