Do you have an extremely routine life? Do you love the life you are having now? People in Hong Kong need to work day and night. There are loads of work and homework waiting for them every day. If you are expecting to have a comfortable environment for working, then I will tell you that it is hopeless. Hong Kong is full of skyscrapers and polluted air. It is difficult for you to search for blue sky and fresh air. When you are living in Hong Kong, you will suffer from stress and you cannot release them by finding a blue sky and endless sea.

Hong Kong people suffer from huge stress. It usually comes from family and work. Although stress can be a driving force sometimes, it will be ineffective if there is too much. It makes people feel languorous and depressed all the time. According to the research of Lingnan University, Hong Kong people’s happiness index came to the lowest point within these three years. Most probably it is because of the pressure of work and economy. This is one of the reasons why more and more people commit suicide in these years. We can see that the life of Hong Kong people is harsh.

Besides having too much stress and pressure, Hong Kong cannot give us a comfortable living environment. Our harbor is known as ‘The Pearl of the Orient’. We may be proud of this. But behind the sparkling lights and fascinating view, we cannot enjoy the big blue sky and stars. The skyscrapers block our view and fresh air. When you pass by the roads in Causeway Bay and Mong Kok, you will find it difficult to breathe because of the polluted air at the roadside. It cannot get away from the super high-rise and wall buildings. It stays inside the city and damages our health.

Hong Kong is a densely populated city. It is crowed everywhere. There is not much open space for the public to reduce their pressure of work. It makes people feel annoyed and weary. Unlike Hong Kong, countries like Australia and Switzerland have lots of open spaces for people to rest and play. They do not keep putting up high-rise buildings everywhere. Instead, they leave the spaces for people and animals to enjoy the blue sky and fresh air. At the same time, the problem of global warming and destroying the habitat of animals is minimized.

Living in Hong Kong makes people feel dizzy and exhausted. There are not many methods for us to get away from stress,. You may feel even worse when you see the wall buildings, traffic congestion and pollution. It makes us feel much more toilsome. Thus, Hong Kong is not a good place to live in. It is no longer become our paradise.
