Imaginative Writing

‘Oh No!’ I saw myself in the mirror and found that I had become a kitten. I thought that I was dreaming. I slapped my face until my face was really sore. It was not a dream. It was real!!

So I decided to find my mum for help. I ran into her room and she screamed.

‘Where does this cat come from?’ She shouted furiously.

But unfortunately, all I could say was ‘meow’. My mum used a stick to drive me out of the house and she banged the door behind me. I cried and recalled why I became a kitten.

I checked my e-mail account last night and saw an e-mail about cats. The e-mail told me to take care of cats and not to harm them. At the end of the e-mail, it wrote ‘Please send this e-mail to 10 friends. Otherwise, you’ll become a cat!’. I thought it was only a gimmick and deleted it. I thought that was why I became a kitten.

Helplessly, I walked on the street and thought about how I could become a human again. Then I prayed to God to let me be a human. Unluckily, God hadn’t listened to my prayer yet so nothing happened. After that, I wandered on the street until I saw a computer shop.

‘That’s it!’ I exclaimed joyfully as if I had won the lottery. ‘That’s the answer!’

I wouldn’t steal one, of course. The only place that provided the free internet service was the library. So that’s my plan.

I crept into the library and nobody noticed me. I hid behind the bookshelf until 7:00p.m.. Although it was a bit boring, it was worth being bored. When everyone left the library at 7:00p.m., I quickly jumped onto the computer and logged into my e-mail account. I sent the e-mail to 10 friends and then hurried home. I jumped in from the window and went to sleep on my bed.

I saw myself in the mirror the next day and –

‘Thank God!!’ I yelled. I became a human again! But I couldn’t find mom and dad. Oh no! I thought I had sent that e-mail to them. I hurried to the sitting room and saw the two helpless cats looking at me.
