Last week, my parents brought my little brother and me to Kam Shan Country Park to have a picnic. On that day, we woke up at 7 o’clock. After breakfast, we went to the country park by bus.
In the country park, there were many trees, bushes, flowers and tables. First, Dad took out his camera and took photos for us. He taught my brother and me how to take a nice photo with his professional digital camera. It was very interesting to take photos all around the park for two hours. Then, we found one of the tables next to a tall tree. We unpacked our food and started to have our lunch. Suddenly, we heard some strange sound from the tree. My brother looked up and screamed, ‘Look! There are two monkeys on the tree!’ The monkeys were not so friendly and they jumped onto our table. We took away the food as fast as we could. But the monkeys took away two packs of chips from my brother’s hands. My brother cried loudly because the chips were his favourite snacks. All of us ran quickly towards the other side of the country park. At the same time, the monkeys traced after us. They looked very hungry and fierce. The monkeys wanted to take all of our food and they were not afraid of human beings at all.
We wanted to escape from the monkeys. All we could do was to keep running and running. At last, my brother stopped and turned around. He picked up his racket and hit the monkeys bravely. The monkeys were very shocked and ran away with the chips. My brother was very disappointed that his chips were gone with the monkeys. At that time, I took out two packs of chips from my bag. My brother was very surprised and excited because his favourite snacks came back. Finally, we went back home with an unforgettable picnic. We will never go back to Kam Shan Country Park again.
