A surprise birthday

When I woke up that morning, I knew something was going to happen.
It was Sunday, and I wanted to do my homework earlier, so I woke up at 7:30a.m..  When I opened my eyes, I found that my sister and I were in a dark, strange bedroom. There were just two beds, and a door but its colour, beds and door were the same as ours. “Where is my piano? Where are my toys? Where are our desks and the other things…,” I was puzzled. Impossible!
  “Janet! Janet…” I called out.
“What’s wrong? I am still sleepy!” my sister complained, “Don’t you play any tricks on me, George.”
“Okay, Janet, listen. I am not playing any tricks on you and I am not joking. You open your eyes immediately!” I commanded.
She opened her eyes and nearly screamed out.
  “Where are we?” she asked.
“Don’t know.” I answered, and I tried to open the door. However, it’s locked.
“Oh! The door is locked. Let’s escape by the windows,” I suggested.
“No way! I want to go to toilet. And… there are no windows…” Her eyes were full of tears.
“Oh! Please don’t cry, my dear little sister,” I said.
Suddenly, I thought of an idea. So, I rushed to the door and yelled, “That person who wants to kidnap us for any reason, please open the door!”
To our surprise, the door opened widely. We were very frightened indeed.
“Ling, ling, ling…” an alarm rang.
“Oh! A dream only,” I thought. I changed my mind in a second, because…
“Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to you…” my parents appeared and my sister sang with them.
Oh! It’s my birthday! How can I forget it! Guess what! The “ling, ling” sound of the alarm was from my mom’s hand. She was holding a clock and she gave it to me.
“You had bought it for me? I want it so much! Thank you!” I was amazed.
“I knew you want it, I am glad you like it. We want to have a surprising birthday morning. It’s all our tricks! Sorry for that…” she grinned at me.
“We just hung some thick black curtain around your room, so it’s really dark here.” Dad explained to me.
“Oh! I love these surprises, they are so… awesome!” I smiled.
(My sister, Janet, is a great actress, and an outstanding member of the ‘Drama Team’. I think I haven’t told you yet.)
