What does my name mean?

My name is Queenie Yeung Wing Yan.  My father chose it for me when I was little.  ‘Queenie’ means ‘queen’.  I don’t think I’m a queen, but I think in other people’s eyes I am a bossy queen.  I will not change my name, because when I was in Primary One, my name was already Queenie.  I love my name, Queenie!
‘Wing Yan’ has a lot of meanings.  ‘Wing’ means perspicacity.  My parents want me to become a clever person, study hard and be famous.  That’s what they want, and I just think my name ‘Wing Yan’ is too common.   If you shout ‘Wing Yan’ on the street, at least 10 people called ‘Wing Yan’ will look at you.  ‘Yan’ means flourishing.  My parents want me to have a prosperous and thriving life.  I love this word, because it can have a lot of meanings.  The funny thing is when you call me by my nickname ‘Little Yan’ in Putonghua, it is ‘Xiao Xin’ and it sounds like ‘careful’.  These characters in Putonghua sound alike!  I think it’s very funny!
Although my name may not be the best name in the world, I still love it, because my parents gave it to me.  I won’t ever change my name.
