Last week, I set a world record. The record was being the fastest reader among twelve year old teenagers in the world. I read one thousand and five hundred words in one minute. I was the winner among one hundred contestants. It was my Guinness world record.
It is not easy to set this record. I had a lot of difficulties. For example, I had to read very fast and my memory had to be very good. When I saw my friends playing, I had to read books! Also, I wanted to join some extra-curricular activities but I couldn’t. I had to read books! Sometimes, I even did not have enough time to finish homework.
I am happy to set this record. It makes me know that all my friends support me. I am glad to know them. My parents are proud of me too. Although there were lots of problems and difficulties, I am really pleased to have set such a record.
