Important Notes for S.1 School Transfer<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. Carmel Secondary School is a government subsidized Christian school. All S.1 places are subject to the EDB Secondary One Places Allocation Scheme. Very few S.1 places are open for application.<\/li>\n
  2. Criteria for transfer<\/u>:

    1. Good performance in the written tests (Students who have attained grade A in English, Chinese and Mathematics and grade B or above in conduct in Primary 6 will be given priority to sit for the written tests), and<\/li>\n
    2. Good performance in the interview.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n

    4. Application deadline: 8th<\/sup> July, 2025 (<\/strong>Tuesday), 4:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Before 8:00 p.m.<\/td>\nThe list of shortlisted candidates to attend the written test will be released on the school website. (Please do not call the school.)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

      (Wednesday)<\/td>\n

      		8:45 a.m. \u2013 12:30 p.m.<\/td>\nWritten tests (Chinese, English and Mathematics) will be administered. *<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

      * In the event of extremely poor weather condition, the written tests will be postponed to 10th<\/sup> July 2025<\/strong>. Details of the re-scheduling will be posted on the school webpage.<\/p>\n

      * After the written test, our staff will call the selected candidates for an interview. (Please do not call the school.)<\/p>\n
