      Academic Activities<\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_tta_tabs][vc_tta_section title=”Future Science Award – Dialogue with the Laureates” tab_id=”1730862036636-14351e7e-2268″][vc_column_text css=””]A group of 9 senior form students had the opportunity to attend presentations by Laureates of the Future Science Award. Through this encounter, they not only learnt about the scientific innovations from each scientist but also the values and attitudes that make a successful scientist. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”14835,14836″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Vision by the Harbour” tab_id=”1730862185948-29dbb4d2-f363″][vc_column_text css=””]A group of 11 students visited the Tech by the Harbour Exhibition by Jumpstarter. They learnt about the applications of technological innovations in various fields including personal health, environmental conservation, medical science, sports science, virtual reality and more. Everyone had a great time! <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”14837,14838″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Lunchtime eLearning Fair” tab_id=”1730862320806-6d6df352-6b8d”][vc_column_text css=””]A group of students decided to kick start conversations among schoolmates on making use of technology to augment, modify, and redefine learning. In our Lunchtime eLearning Fair, student presenters showed us how they use their iPads for creating multimedia learning journals, capturing important moments in lessons, planning and scheduling to enhance productivity and time management, collaborative learning and resource sharing, and many other interesting learning strategies. They also stressed the importance of correct values and attitudes towards the use of technology. This had definitely been a fruitful lunch hour!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”14839,14840,14841″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”JA workshops” tab_id=”1730862612756-d7a0eb53-7607″][vc_column_text css=””]Our S.3 and S4 students joined the workshop \u201cJA Innovation Camp\u201d by Junior Achievement Hong Kong, in which they learnt about design thinking, coding, entrepreneurial mindset, problem solving and teamwork through a series of exercises, prototyping and presentation under the guidance of experienced business volunteers.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”5″ images=”14843,14844,14845,14846″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”The Hong Kong Creative Maths & Science 4D Frame Competition” tab_id=”1730862765954-12901566-30ff”][vc_column_text css=””]S2 Sze Yeung Ming and S3 Mok Ka Long recently participated in The Hong Kong Creative Maths & Science 4D Frame Competition, where they collaborated to construct a machine designed for firing projectiles.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”5″ images=”14847,14848,14849″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Hong Kong Student Science Competition” tab_id=”1730862826122-6c544920-c441″][vc_column_text css=””]S5 So Chun Yin, Lam Tsz Yin , Ho Cheuk Heng and Yip San King recently participated in the Hong Kong Student Science Competition, showcasing their innovative product, a rice mixing machine.       Outstanding Achievements<\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]AI Farming Competition and Inno4Life Exhibition\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

      Congratulations to our S.4 students for winning the Merit Prize in the AI farming competition “\u5553\u5f65\u610f\u6bd4\u601d\u74b0\u7403\u53ef\u6301\u7e8c\u767c\u5c55\u9ad8\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u734e\u8cfd\u2122\ufe0f ESG \u4eba\u5de5\u667a\u80fd\u5782\u76f4\u8015\u7a2e\u6bd4\u8cfd 2024 (\u9999\u6e2f)”! In the competition, they grew vegetables through upcycling a disposed machine by adding their own technological elements.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Their success also earned them an invitation to showcase their work at the Inno4life Expo which took place in the HKCEC. This opportunity allowed them to connect with industry leaders and further refine their project. It was definitely a meaningful learning experience!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”14828,14829,14830″ img_size=”full” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Robotics Team \u2018Electrolight\u2019 got the Robot Performance Award Champion in First Lego League Hong Kong this year.<\/b><\/p>\n
