Regulation<\/h2>\n

All Carmel teachers and students are eligible to borrow our school library materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Rules<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. All Carmel teachers and students are eligible to borrow materials from our school library.<\/li>\n
  2. All students must wear their school uniforms while using the library.<\/li>\n
  3. Students must maintain silence in the library and refrain from inappropriate activities such as talking, eating, drinking, sleeping, playing chess, or engaging in group discussions.<\/li>\n
  4. Students should keep the library tidy and clean.<\/li>\n
  5. Library facilities must be handled and used carefully and gently.<\/li>\n
  6. No library books should be left on tables; they should be returned to the book trolley after use.<\/li>\n
  7. Photocopying of library materials must comply with the Copyright Ordinance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Rules for Borrowing<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Students must use their own library cards and should not lend them to others.<\/li>\n
    2. Each student is allowed to borrow up to six items from the library at one time.<\/li>\n
    3. Most borrowed materials should be returned within 14 days. Exam references or teacher-recommended books may be borrowed for specified loan periods.<\/li>\n
    4. Books must be returned on or before the due date (excluding days when the library is closed). A fine of $1 per day will be charged for each item returned late.<\/li>\n
    5. If a borrowed book is lost or damaged, students must report it to the library immediately and may be required to pay the full replacement cost of the item<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
