Have you ever had any working experience? No kidding, working in a toy company can be tremendously brilliant. I love playing with kids very much, thus, I decided to work as a salesperson in a toy shop in the three-week ‘Summer Work Experience’ scheme last summer. Are you eager to know how exciting my experience was?<\/p>\n
On the first day, I went to the toy shop which was called ‘Happy Toy Shop’. I wore the uniform and name tag and started working. The shop was a kingdom of toys. There were many varieties of toys, such as robots and snow white dolls. ‘Happy Toy Shop’ made people feel warm and delighted. Every worker smiled happily and was indeed kind. They told me that I could go and ask them if I had any problems. I was really excited when I first saw a mother carrying her little daughter going into the shop. The little daughter was lovely and I could see her dimples. I smiled back and took a princess doll down from a rack. I lifted up my voice and gave the little girl a pleasant ‘hello’. ‘Mum, I love this doll!’ yelled the little girl. Finally, they became my first customers. I had great satisfaction in selling the princess doll successfully. <\/p>\n
On the following days, I kept on putting the toy packages onto the racks. Also, I put on my smiles and served the customers. I enjoyed doing my job. I made some good friends in the shop, too. Sally was one of them. She was really caring and helpful. One day, I felt sick and didn’t go to work. She came to my home and visited me. I was very touched. Joining the ‘Summer Work Experience’ scheme really benefited me a lot. I had struck up a great friendship with my colleagues.<\/p>\n
I enjoyed seeing children smiling happily in the shop. Also, I loved working with Sally. She became my confidant. I have learnt lots of communication skills, too. I would like to be a reporter in the future. And I think this fascinating working experience really broadened my horizons. I have been much more bold and independent. Finally, I encourage all of you to come and join this scheme. You can get lots of fun and at the same time, you can learn a lot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
