I woke up and noticed something strange in my house. I walked around and tried to find my mother.
However, I could not. I sat down on the sofa, it was so quiet. I was scared of the silence in this place. Suddenly, I heard a tiny voice which was like my Mom's.
I looked for the source of that voice. Then, I found my Mum at the cupboard in the kitchen.

I was surprised because my mother was like a midget. A tiny mother who was only 20cm tall made me feel uncomfortable. “Why did you become so small?” I asked her immediately. She told me about her dream. She met a magician who had wonderful power. The magician knew that she didn't have much time for recreation and talking with me. So, the magician gave her an offer, she could rest for a whole day and experience my life but she must become 20cm tall in a whole day until evening. My mother agreed.

I had to go back to school for self-studying and I must have the orchestra practice in the afternoon. I thought I should go out with her because she might
be in danger at home with her 20-cm-tall body. Therefore, I decided to make her some mini-clothes since she was naked. Her clothes no longer fit her body.
I used some old Barble's clothes and helped her to dress up. “Nice!” I cried.

After I put her into my bag, I closed the door and walked down the stairs. She looked out and enjoyed a whole new view from the hole which I opened for her to breathe. I arrived at school, went to the library and did my self-study, I told her to be careful. “Don't let other people see you, they will be terrified.” While I was studying, my silly Mum walked on the bookshelf. It seemed that she was a child playing in a playground.

Then, we had to take a long-distance bus and go to Tsuen Wan. It took quite a long time. So, I bought some snacks for her at the supermarket. We discussed my school life and the conclusion was that it was quite boring. We had a wonderful conversation on the bus. Some passengers thought I was talking to myself. I guessed I looked extremely foolish or crazy. She enjoyed music in my bag when I played the clarinet. She liked to sleep in my scarf as a bed. She slept
peacefully in my bag, I tried to let her sleep.

At 6' o clock, my mother went to take a bath. Suddenly, I heard a scream from the bathroom. I went and checked what happened. “Oh dear, I have just returned to my normal size!” she explained happily. After she had a bath, we cooked our dinner together. My mother appreciated my orchestra and the symphony which we played. I was cheerful.

We cooked a nice dinner and enjoyed our “products”. We shared our feeling about the whole day. I felt so sweet since I had not had a meal with my mother for a long time. She was too busy. Finally, both of us knew that we should spend more time with our family and try to understand each other more.

Last Sunday morning was a mysterious morning.
