One year\nago, there was a pandemic of Red Death in the town where I\nlived. Therefore, we had to wear face masks\nwhen we went out. I periodically went to\nthe convenient store near my home to buy face masks. One day, as usual, I went to the convenient\nstore. There were different kinds of\nface masks. Suddenly, a special mask caught\nmy eyes. There was a time machine on the\nmask. I didn\u2019t see such a special mask\nbefore so I bought it immediately. It\nwas $100. It was more expensive than the\nones that I usually bought. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I got home, I put the mask on my bed.\u00a0 I started to do homework.\u00a0 After 45 mins, I felt tired so I stopped and took a rest.\u00a0 I lay on the bed and saw the face mask I just bought.\u00a0 I tore the plastic bag and took it out.\u00a0 I went to the mirror and put on the mask because I wanted to see how I looked with such a mask.\u00a0 Suddenly, there was a flash and I fainted.\u00a0 I did not know how long I fainted.\u00a0 When I opened my eyes, I discovered that I was in strange place.\u00a0 There were some people who were wearing weird clothes.\u00a0 The buildings looked like the ones I saw in the Chinese History book.\u00a0 Some soldiers were burning books.\u00a0 Some soldiers were pushing some people into a huge hole.\u00a0 I thought, \u2018Oh no!\u00a0 They want to bury the people.\u2019\u00a0 Without hesitation, I rushed to the soldiers and shouted at them, \u2018Stop, what are you doing? \u00a0Do you want to bury the people?\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Why are you so cruel?\u2019\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the soldiers answered, \u2018Who are you?\u00a0 Emperor Qin Shihuang ordered us to kill them.\u00a0 Do you want to get killed?\u2019\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018What? Emperor Qin Shihuang?\u00a0 What year is it now?\u00a0 Where am I?\u00a0 Why am I here?\u2019\u00a0 I screamed.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The soldiers said, \u2018It\u2019s Qin Dynasty.\u00a0 Are you sick?\u2019\u00a0 Finally, I realised that I was in the Qin Dynasty.\u00a0 I felt scared and shocked.\u00a0 How come I was in a dynasty long time ago?\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, I knew what the soldiers were doing because I had learnt the bad things Emperor Qin Shihuang did in the Chinese History lesson.\u00a0 I was so angry that I yelled and scolded at the soldiers.\u00a0 They were as mad as hornets so they caught me and took me to see Emperor Qin Shihuang.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t believe that I could see this bad emperor.\u00a0 He was fat and short.\u00a0 He was enjoying a cup of tea relaxedly.\u00a0 I shouted madly at him.\u00a0 I said, \u2018Do you know you are such a terrible emperor? People didn\u2019t do anything wrong.\u00a0 Why do you kill them?\u00a0 The books are useful.\u00a0 You should preserve them for posterity.\u00a0 You are so selfish and inhuman!\u00a0 The emperor\u2019s face turned red.\u00a0 I knew he was angry with me.\u00a0 There was a minute of silence.\u00a0 Finally, the emperor said calmly, \u2018You\u2019re a child. If you say sorry to me, I\u2019ll forgive you.\u2019\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
