When she was sleeping,\nshe dreamt about Brian and her meeting. She saw a boy wear a red T-shirt, blue\njeans and a pair of yellow sneakers who was standing near the McDonald\u2019s. She\ncried out \u201cBrian!\u201d and when the boy turned his head, Maria realized that he was\nnot Brian. Then, she woke up. She looked at the stars and made a wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\nMaria said, \u201cI wish I could meet my brother. Can you make my wish come\ntrue please?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\nOne day, when the teacher was reading aloud a passage, he said, \u201cBrian\nwas a teenager who went away from home because he didn\u2019t like his parents\u2026\u201d,\nMaria thought it was talking about her brother. She cried out loud and rushed\nout of the classroom. The teacher phoned Maria\u2019s parents and discussed about\nthe strange behaviour of Maria. When Maria came back home, her parents scolded\nher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\nAs time flied, Toby was already a 12-year-old. He was good at using\ncomputer. Maria knew that she had to forget the exist of Brian as she thought\nthat it was a truth that Brian would never find her anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;On one day, when Toby was doing a homework\nabout family, he remembered something. He remembered he still had a brother who\nwas Brian. He was curious of Brian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Toby asked Maria, \u201cWhere is Brian now? I\nremembered that when I was small, you kept saying that you missed brother so\nmuch, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;As Maria didn\u2019t want to talk about Brian\nanymore, she said, \u201cNo&#8230;no, we don\u2019t have a\u2026. a brother. You are my only\nbrother in this world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Toby knew that she lied, \u201cWhy do you tell lies\nto me? Why don\u2019t Mom and Dad talk about Brian?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Maria didn\u2019t want to reply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Toby shouted, \u201cHey, talk to me! Talk to me\nplease! Why don\u2019t you give any responses? I am asking you a question!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cEnough! Don\u2019t talk about him anymore,\u201d Maria\nsaid angrily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\n\u201cMom and Dad don\u2019t let us talk about Brian. When you were still in Mom\u2019s\ntummy, they said that Brian had been a bad influence. Therefore, they didn\u2019t\nlet me say even a word about Brian. To be honest, I really miss him and I want\nto meet him. However, it seems impossible, right?\u201d Maria sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cNo, we can\u2019t give up! We can find Brian on one day.\u201d said Toby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cWe? I thought I was the only one who would like to find Brian. Thanks,\nToby.\u201d Maria said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cI would find Brian on the internet. I would ask all my friends whether\nthey have any news of Brian.\u201d Toby said excitedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cThanks again, my lovely brother.\u201d Maria said happily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nThey searched on the internet day after day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nAfter a few weeks, when Toby was searching, he screamed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cWhat happened?\u201d Maria asked curiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\n\u201cBrother\u2026 brother&#8230;brother! It\u2019s Brian! He\u2019s working at McDonald\u2019s. Someone\nmentioned him in one of the comments. Let\u2019s go there right now!\u201d Toby yelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;\n\u201cBrian, we are coming!\u201d Maria proclaimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nMaria and Toby ran to the McDonald\u2019s hurriedly. Their heart was beating\nvery fast. They kept brushing tears away from their eyes. And giggling. This\nmade Maria thought about the past. When they arrived, they looked around in the\nMcDonald\u2019s, searching for their brother. They searched the first floor, but\nthey found nothing. Then, they went to the second level. There, in the corner\nof the second level, next to the window where people could see down into the\nparking lot, they saw a man serve a customer.
