Good morning fellow students<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let me start my speech by asking you several\nquestions. Do you find it almost\nimpossible to persuade your mother to buy you that adorable video game? Do you lose your quarrels to your siblings\nand you can just turn into an angry maniac giving out nothing persuasive but\nbiased truth? And most importantly, you\ncan\u2019t get out of the endless loop and you thought you\u2019d never be able to change\nthis perplexing situation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s why I\u2019m here to tell you a simple \u201cno\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m here to introduce to you the Debating\nTeam, which is an ideal place for you to equip yourselves with the best\nreasoning skills. In the team, we are always\nenriching our experience in debating together. \nWe brush up skills for doing rebuttals, looking for the best expressions\nand exploring the best way to put forward our arguments. Never should you be afraid of being a newbie\nto debating or knowing only little about public speaking. In our team, you will feel the hospitality\nfrom our senior members. We will experience\nhow to gear up, embrace challenges and make improvement together. There\u2019s nothing you need to worry about. Just come and join our family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Besides reasoning skills, joining our team,\nyou can enjoy benefits that you haven\u2019t thought of. You will be able to develop a foreign accent\nand speak fluent English as debating requires the contestants to deliver a lot\nof arguments under a time constraint. Debating requires you to refute your\nopponents\u2019 points and come up with ideas quickly in order to ace the other\nteam. Frequent practice and hands-on experiences\nwill help you to develop swift thinking and think out of the box. You will be able to provide solid evidence to\nmake a persuasive speech in the most eloquent manner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although I must admit that debating can be\ntime consuming as you need to join some training sessions and do preparation\nfor debating contests, the reward for what you\u2019ve paid, both effort and time,\nis totally worth it. Your effort will\nsurely pay off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Join us and thrive in oral English and\ncritical thinking. We welcome all of you\nour junior schoolmates with open arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let me end the speech with a fun fact. I got my Nintendo Switch after I persuaded my\nmum with the skills acquired in the Debating Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
