There is another world like Earth. A man called Jerry, one of the people living there, cuts his ears off one day and actually most of the people there cut their ears off too.<\/p>\n
One year ago, when Jerry Still had his ear, he graduated from the university. And he found a good job, which was an office boy. He was happy about this since many people regarded that job as comfortable and high-paid. For the first half year, he felt contented with his job and the good relationship with the colleagues.<\/p>\n
His view changed after half a year, however. One day, when he was having lunch with a lady colleague, he carelessly touched on her hair and the other colleagues saw it. Jerry said sorry to her immediately. He thought that the problem was solved. But his colleagues didn’t think so. They insisted that Jerry touched her hair on purpose. The gossip spread in his company. The gossip even became Jerry touching the chest of the lady. Jerry tried to explain but nobody listened to his explaining. As the colleagues discriminated against him and saw him as a lecher, nobody talked to him. He felt frustrated. All his colleagues didn’t believe him. The gossip kept on spreading in the company. Jerry didn’t want to hear it anymore. He tried to pretend that he didn’t hear it. But the gossip still kept on appearing in his mind. He hated it. He couldn’t even sleep well because his ears always heard the gossip and he couldn’t stop thinking about it. He wanted to talk to someone about his trouble but no one wanted to listen to him. His health turned worse. The gossip still lingered in his mind. One day, he thought of a method. He thought that he would never hear the gossip anymore if he cut his ears.<\/p>\n
At the pier, he used the knife to cut his ears and threw them to the sea. He thought that it would work but actually the gossip did not come to an end. It remained in his head.
