1) Tomorrow will be the Biology exam. Exam is really disgusting, disturbing and disappointing! It’s the worst nightmare to me.
2) And now, I am sitting here in my room, staring at the dense words. They make me want to faint! “Red blood cell, white blood cell, blood platelets…” All the cells jump out from my textbook, filling my whole room and attacking me.
3) All of a sudden, a strong wind blows into my room, a piece of note flies off from my desk. So I walk over and close the windows and wonder, “Why is the window open? I remember that I’ve already closed it.” Anyway, I don’t bother to further investigate it.
4) Just then, I look at the clock. “It’s 10p.m!” My heart starts beating faster and faster. “I don have enough time now. Got to hurry! ”
5) Time flies, one hour has passed. I start to feel sleepy. “Knock, knock, knock…” Who is knocking at my door? I ask myself. Mum and Dad are not home yet. I walk towards my door. “Click!” the door opens by itself.
6) I stick my head outside the door. It’s pitch-black outside. I cannot see a thing aside from a painting hanging on the wall. The doll inside the painting is laughing cunningly at me. My body is shivering and my heart is pounding. I feel a drop of sweat falling from my forehead.
7) The knocking sound continuously hits my eardrums. I suddenly realize that it may be the footsteps from the family living above us (16th floor). So, I keep on burying myself in the books. The next night, at around 11 o’clock, I hear the strange sound again. But this time I also hear some glass breaking sound!
8) The third night, the forth night and the fifth night… Every single night, the strange noise is still present, at about 11 o’clock. I am really confused! I feel annoyed. I cannot stand the sound anymore. I go to the management office and complain about it.
9) A week later, I meet other people in the lift – a father and a daughter. “Father, recently, mum’s sickness is getting worse and worse…..” “Yes. Almost every night, she sleepwalks! She even broke my expensive case!” I look at the lighted buttons of the lift.
