Black Queen and Angel<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Oh, look!\u00a0 Here comes that girl again.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018No wonder why her nickname is \u201cThe Black Queen\u201d.\u00a0 See her gloomy and dark face.\u00a0 It seems she finds the whole world disgusting.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018She dislikes us?\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 It\u2019s so unreasonable!\u00a0 She looks so unkind.\u00a0 That\u2019s why she\u2019s got no friend at all.\u2019<\/p>\n

The girl being the topic of the gossip of the students was called Jennifer. \u00a0Once she walked into the classroom, the attention of the students would immediately be drawn to her.<\/p>\n

\u2018She is just so indifferent to everything and everybody around her.\u00a0 She simply doesn\u2019t care about anyone\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

When the boy started to complain about Jennifer\u2019s bad attitude, another student stopped him with a sharp glance.<\/p>\n

The boy tilted his head full of doubt. \u00a0When he turned his head to his back hesitantly, he realized that Jennifer had been standing behind him for some time already, looking hard at him.\u00a0 Her stare was like shooting arrows.\u00a0 All students in the classroom fell into complete silent. \u00a0No one dared to utter a word. \u00a0Every student could clearly see big droplets of cold sweat were shedding down the boy\u2019s cheeks. \u00a0The boy could hardly swallow his saliva and started to avoid the direct eye contact with Jennifer, who seemed to be able to use her stare to stab him to death.<\/p>\n

Apparently, Jennifer didn\u2019t want to waste time on this stammering boy.\u00a0 She rolled her eyes as hard as possible to show her impatience to stop his negative comments.\u00a0 Then she went straight to her seat.<\/p>\n

\u2018No one likes me, I know.\u2019\u00a0 Jennifer shook her head lightly.\u00a0 A wry smile appeared on her black face.<\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s why I don’t believe in true friendship, let alone the so called love.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Okay students, let\u2019s meet our new student! \u00a0Please introduce yourself,\u2019 the class teacher introduced a freshman to the school in the morning.<\/p>\n

\u2018Hello, everyone.\u00a0 Nice to meet you all!\u00a0 My name is Angel.\u00a0 I\u2019m studying in this school with you guys from now on!\u2019<\/p>\n

Jennifer held her head with her palm, sizing up the girl standing in front of the class. The girl, Angel, looking adorable was grinning brightly, just like the sunshine lighting up the world. \u00a0Her new classmates obviously liked her a lot as they welcomed her with a thunderous round of applause of welcoming.<\/p>\n

Jennifer rolled her eyes again, thinking that there would be one more member who didn’t like her. \u00a0While she looked up casually, a splendid smile was right in front of her and it made lose one of her heartbeats.<\/p>\n

\u2018Hi\u2026would you mind if I sit here?\u2019<\/p>\n

Blatantly Jennifer was shocked at Angel\u2019s request because no one had ever wanted to sit beside her since she was a primary school student.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2026As you like.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Thank you!\u2019<\/p>\n

Angel quickly pulled out the chair beside Jennifer and sat down.<\/p>\n

\u2018Nice to meet you! \u00a0I\u2019m Angel, what\u2019s your name?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2026Jennifer.\u2019<\/p>\n

This was how they met.<\/p>\n

From that day on, students around the school always saw Angel sticking around Jennifer all the time. No matter whether it was in the recess, at lunch time, or even after school. They were like close friends.<\/p>\n

But Jennifer didn\u2019t understand why Angel, such an outgoing and enthusiastic person would like to befriend her, this indifferent \u201cBlack Queen\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018You ask me why? \u00a0Why should there be a reason?\u00a0 We\u2019re friends!\u2019\u00a0 Angel gave the answer naturally without a moment of hesitation.<\/p>\n

\u2018Why do you\u2026I mean, all people don\u2019t like me.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018They may just think you don\u2019t like them.\u00a0 There may be simply some misunderstanding.\u2019<\/p>\n

She reached out to Jennifer\u2019s hand, and used her fingers to withhold Jennifer\u2019s. \u00a0Angel beamed again. \u00a0Her radiant smile was so warm and was like releasing a fragrance which made Jennifer calm.<\/p>\n

\u2018You\u2019re actually a kind girl.\u00a0 Show them your warmth and kindness.\u00a0 Start with a smile.\u00a0 It might be hard at the beginning but it will be fine once you start removing your cold mask and show others your real self.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m not sure if I can do it\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s okay.\u00a0 I\u2019ll always be here to support you!\u2019<\/p>\n

The next morning, the students were chit-chatting again with each other inside the classroom. \u00a0Suddenly, the classroom became complete quiet. \u00a0No doubt, Jennifer was back to school.<\/p>\n

\u2018Oh, not again\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n

It seemed that their happy mood was interrupted by her.\u00a0 Jennifer plucked up her courage and stepped towards them.\u00a0 Although it was still difficult to force out a smile on her face, she tried to soften her tone and asked \u2018May I join?\u2019<\/p>\n

The students looked a bit shocked but they replied, \u2018Sure!\u2019<\/p>\n

The boy who used to complain about Jennifer\u2019s manner before greeted her with a smile.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2018Show kindness to people around you, and they will show the same to you.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jennifer smile cheerful from the bottom of her heart which made her black face shine.<\/p>\n

\u2018Thank you, Angel,\u2019 a little voice from her heart sang with joy.<\/p>\n
