{"id":5688,"date":"2017-07-04T08:10:32","date_gmt":"2017-07-04T08:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.carmelss.edu.hk\/buddingwriters\/?p=5688"},"modified":"2017-07-04T08:10:32","modified_gmt":"2017-07-04T08:10:32","slug":"inter-class-singing-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carmelss.edu.hk\/buddingwriters\/archives\/5688","title":{"rendered":"Inter-class Singing Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Inter-class Singing Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The theme of this year\u2019s Inter-class Singing Competition is \u201cDream\u201d.\u00a0 The event was successfully held on March 29.<\/p>\n<p>All junior form classes joined the contest.\u00a0 One major criterion for judging the performance was the ability to perform the song with creativity.\u00a0 Much earlier before the competition, our class, 3C, had chosen the song \u201cFight Song\u201d, of which the lyrics match with the theme of the contest this year.\u00a0 We kept on practising in our limited time to make sure that our voice matched with the piano, the double bass and the guitar. \u00a0To demonstrate our creativity, we tried various ways of presentations, like having different combinations of the girls\u2019 and the boys\u2019 voices and singing with gestures, including clapping hands and stepping feet.<\/p>\n<p>The key to success of our class is our persistence and unity. \u00a0The whole class attended all the practices and paid our upmost effort to make improvement.\u00a0 We worked together to strive for one goal \u2013 performing our best.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI might have only one match, but I can make an explosion.\u201d \u201cMy power\u2019s turned on.\u00a0 Starting right now I\u2019ll be strong.
